The staff at SJ Tank Services Inc has over 45 years of combined experience in the petroleum and liquid cargo tank hauling industry. This experience gives us a front row seat to identify and react to the needs and demands of this highly regulated industry.
Shop/Sales Manager – Bob started his career at the Pennsylvania College of Technology. With a certificate in Service and Operation of Heavy Equipment he started has a mechanic and was responsible for performing preventative maintenance and repairs on a fleet of vehicles. He worked his way up to Scheduler/Shop Manager where he became responsible for scheduling the workflow and supervising all the mechanics. After 4 years in that position he was promoted to Maintenance Manager where he was responsible for all shop activities and personnel.
Registered Inspector – Jeremy was a Heavy Equipment Operator with the United States Navy Seabees. After completion of his military service he attended training at Lincoln Electric in Mentor Ohio where he received certification in welding. Jeremy spent several years working as a roustabout in the Pennsylvania oil fields. He then put his certifications and skills to work as a Welding and Tank Testing Supervisor for a local trucking company.
Office Manager – Tina graduated from Grove City College with a degree in Business Administration, Management Information Systems. She taught computer application classes for Jamestown Community College and University of Pittsburgh Bradford in the evenings and on weekends. Her daytime hours were filled by auditing her local township financial records and running the family oil field service business. The last 5 years she worked fulltime as the Maintenance Administrator for a commercial trucking company. She processed all customer invoices, reviewed and processed mechanic hours, and assisted with R-Stamp review and FMCSA audits.
